I designed this add-on specifically for my Anet A8 3D printer, addressing the issue of filament shaving on the extruder. By creating a part that directs the filament straight through the center of the extruder's filament hole, I significantly reduced friction on the filament. This design also serves as a cable organizer, holding the heat element and both fans in place. In my setup, it even secures the proximity sensor cable. Additionally, a slot is included in the central support to manage the extruder cooling fan's cable. On December 31st, 2016, I updated the files by removing the unnecessary cable holder portion and making them available for download. If you encounter any issues with this design, please let me know so I can make necessary improvements. I would appreciate it if users could share their experiences and pictures of the printed part with comments. Your feedback is valuable in helping me refine this design. Thank you, Leo Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 100% Notes: This part was printed at 40mm/s with a 0.8mm shell thickness and 0.8mm top/bottom thick closures. It's recommended to use supports for the slot in the support that holds the cooling fan cable.
