Anet A8 Filament Guide

Hi!\r\n\r\nI built a simple clip on/slide on filament guide that's perfect for my Anet A8 printer and will fit any 8mm thick surface.\r\n\r\nIt attaches to the top part, nestled between the screen and buttons.\r\n\r\nWhat sets this design apart is its two-part construction (both parts are connected by a tiny bridge) - print both in one file then detach the smaller piece).\r\n\r\nThe larger section has a gap for inserting filament (you'll need to remove it from the printer first), while the smaller part fills that gap once the filament is in place.\r\n\r\nI printed at 60mm/s with 15% infill and got great results, although printing at 30mm/s gave me an even better finish..\r\n\r\nSorry for the subpar photo quality - taking clear shots of black parts can be really tough.\r\n\r\nThere are two separate STL files available: one has a straight "middle" section, while the other features a cross-shaped notch. I printed the straight version and it fits perfectly, but I thought the notched design might offer added security.\r\n\r\nPrint whichever you prefer and share your thoughts!\r\n\r\nThe top surface is flat, so feel free to print it upside down - no supports or special precautions needed.
