Anet A8 Fan reposition kit. Improve your cooling, minimise Wobbeling. For 20mm Flexpipe.

Hi folks, With this project, I continue my pursuit of superior cooling for my Anet A8. I experienced persistent problems with overhangs not printing properly and significant wobbling on my extruder after installing the massive 80mm axial fan adapter (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1828421). I reversed this conversion as the axial fan wasn't producing sufficient pressure for the cooling nozzle. Additionally, it was just too heavy. Therefore, I purchased a larger radial fan (https://www.amazon.de/Titan-4260120530818-TFD-B9733M12C/dp/B00405G8AM), which is obviously too big and heavy to mount on the extruder. I mounted it on my acrylic frame and designed these pieces. Now you can run a 20mm hose from the fan to the nozzle. I also suggest printing the fan duct. The prints improved immediately. You can print up to 70° overhangs on 0.1mm layer height without support. You can also reduce the fan speed as it produces significant amounts of pressure and therefore reduce the noise. You'll need: Titan radial fan (or else) https://www.amazon.de/Titan-4260120530818-TFD-B9733M12C/dp/B00405G8AM 19mm / 20mm flex hose like the one in the picture (local hardware store, quite cheap) Suitable screws were left from assembling my Anet Assembly: Connector places directly in the original fan mounting holes. Put adapter in fan Drill two holes on the acrylic part alongside the z-axis (may wanna pilot before) Mount fan Connect everything with the hose (I glued it in place with hot glue) Voilà! P.S. On the picture of my printer setup, you see an older design of the connector. Fan Duct: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2014231 Anet A8 Fan duct High flow (p.e. for axial fan conversion). In a car guy's mind, you'd probably say it's ported. I optimized the diameter for better flow, as I experienced quite some trouble with my fan conversion to 80mm axial fan. It does what it's supposed to do.
