Anet A8 Fan Nozzle V2
thingiverse
I've discovered this design to be significantly more effective than semi-circular and fully circular fan nozzles. This is a reworked version of the standard fan nozzle that came with the printer, and I've made several key changes. Some unnecessary arcs and curves have been removed, and I've opted for a direct reduction to a 2.4mm opening. Since installing it, my prints have been noticeably smoother and feature more even cooling. The walls are thin enough to accommodate 100% infill. I've kept everything at a nice multiplier of the nozzle width (0.4). With decent printer and filament quality, small overhangs can be easily spanned for a smooth print, aside from the overhang on the fan housing insert. Filament used: KCamel Silver (slightly translucent) PLA.
