I modified a popular mod to enhance accessibility to the extruder gear. Bartoaster's version works effectively but has a fragile connection between the carriage and fan, posing a significant risk of damage. To overcome this, I reinforced the design with additional plastic, significantly increasing its durability. This mod seamlessly integrates with cut heatsinks and is ideally suited for use with one.
