I was really impressed by the targeted airflow of the Spriya design created by lokster, available on Thingiverse as https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2133328, but I encountered issues when printing at higher temperatures - the heater core simply couldn't keep up. Even after a PID tune, the fan would trigger a thermal runaway because my nozzle was positioned lower and the fan was cooling the heater block. So, I designed one with an 8mm drop, which unfortunately turned out to be too low. I redesigned it with a 4 mm drop, but that worked for a short time until the PLA eventually began to droop and hit a model. In the end, I settled on Spriya v3, which had a 3mm drop and narrowed the opening slightly to prevent cooling the heater core altogether. All three versions are included for added flexibility. Be sure to perform a PID tune after installation.
