Anet A8 Extruder Strain Relief
thingiverse
I created a strain relief that works for my configuration because I couldn't find one that fit, using M4 screws on the upper right bearing as the foundation. This design is an open loop that slips around your wire bundle for easy installation. When generating supports with Cura, I choose 'Touching Build Plate' to avoid unnecessary support material in screw holes. Drilling through support material is not ideal, so I follow the "no drilling required" school of design. The wire bundles in my pictures are enclosed inside 1/2 inch Techflex Flexo F6 Split Sleeving, which I highly recommend for its professional appearance and functionality compared to spiral sleeving.
