For noisy extruders, install the insert on the bearing screw inside the nozzle.\r\n\r\nThe noise occurs due to friction between the extruder and the bearing, and it can be resolved by spacing them apart.\r\nHowever since this affects the bearing's position slightly and causes misalignment of the nozzle throat, more than 0.2mm thick is not suggested.\r\nI have not tested for 0.15mm thick inserts, but they should work as well.\r\n\r\nIn that video, the loud squeak did not occur. I was unable to capture it, sorry.\r\n\r\nDesigned for use with 0.3mm line thickness and 0.2 or 0.15mm layer thickness.\r\n\r\nDetailed explanation : https://www.thingiverse.com/groups/anet-a8-prusa-i3/forums/general/topic:30119\r\n\r\nVideo : https://youtu.be/xGflti2M6So
