UPDATE: Thanks for your downloads, but I stopped supporting this part because I sold my A8. Thank you for likes, collects, remixes and so on. Feel free to ask, but I will no longer work on this mod. I often had problems with replacing the filament (filament leftover in the extruder) and was tired of always disassembling the fan, so I decided to make the fan movable. My modification is a type of hinge. One half is attached to the extruder with two 3x25mm screws. The other half is screwed together with two 3x30mm screws and two 3mm nuts. ATTENTION: It's essential to sink in the holes of the aluminum block to make the screws flush with the block. Additionally, I use the Anet A8 Extruder Fan Spacer by AZDawg (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1798669), which I customized so the fan sits flush on the aluminum block. Both parts are screwed together with one 3x40mm screw and two 3mm nuts. The aluminum block no longer bears directly on the extruder, so some of you might say that it's not useful anymore. That's right; you've lost the cooling effect, but I don't recognize any change in results with PLA. For ABS, this mod may not be good because higher temperatures on the extruder. However, the positive effect is noticeable: you have fast and easy access to the filament loader. So everyone who's tired of disassembling the fan each time they have problems with the loader is welcome to use my modification to improve their own printer.
