I've seen numerous versions of these on Thingiverse, but all the thing files were strangely oriented horizontally. This necessitated adding supports to build them. I designed this version in about 5 minutes using RhinoCad 5. My big thumb makes the top larger than usual. Several pictures show my actual printed part in action. I deliberately designed it so no supports are required for printing. Is that clear? It's just another thumb knob for the A8, and I've proven its effectiveness with photos to back it up. Enjoy! By the way, I'm not criticizing those who have made similar knobs for this printer; I simply can't figure out how to reorient an STL file in my slicer (Simplify 3D - which I paid for and really love!). Cleaning out supports is also a hassle. My Anet A8 prints exceptionally well with the newly attached BLTouch auto leveling bed sensor. Below, you'll find specifics on my settings using Simplify 3D. I've included the Rhino .3dm file if you want to modify it.
