After numerous iterations and experimental designs, we've finally settled on a crown design that meets our needs. Some individuals questioned the play, heat tolerance, and durability of the initial prints, but using V2 for over a year revealed no issues whatsoever, even with 10-hour prints that ran smoothly without a hitch. We then made adjustments to create iteration V3, which printed flawlessly, leading us to refine and redesign overall. The current design, V9.9, boasts two versions: Reverse and Original. I'm utilizing the reverse configuration since my setup doesn't permit me to view the extruder on the original orientation, and it also brings the extruder to a corner, providing a clear view while bed leveling. Key updates include: * One-part assembly * Easy construction * Tight tolerancing * 25mm increased Z-axis space * Central mass distribution * Enhanced cable management Print time varies between 5-7 hours depending on the setup, and built-in supports ensure smooth printing. On the V9.9 design, it's essential to zip tie the belt to secure and apply tension. I found it more efficient to tighten the belt first, then attach it to the carriage afterwards. This way, the belt remains taut and easy to adjust. If you've managed to read through this detailed explanation, I appreciate your time and attention.
