Anet A8 - External lcd enclosure v3.2
thingiverse
External Case for Anet A8 LCD Module with Buttons Print files at your desired layer height. For a 0.28 infill of 5%, it takes nearly 4 hours to print the front and about 1 hour for supports. v3.2: Added NO TEXT alternative for the front piece. v3.1: Included an alternative pair of supports without screw holes in the base but with flat rails 49.5x20mm. These can be stuck to a rigid surface using double-sided tape. v3.0: Added rear panel with 3mm screw supports for those who plan to mount it on top of a printer enclosure. Also added holes for fixing it at 45° and in the supports. Holes for screws are included so they can be hidden inside the enclosure or left outside for better maintenance. v2.0: Enlarged holes for nuts (+0.4mm) in the supports and enlarged holes for push button (+0.4mm). This is to prevent trouble inserting plastic buttons into the holes, as it may vary slightly depending on the precision of the Chinese who soldered the buttons in place. The front plate was made thinner (2mm instead of 3mm) to reduce print time and material waste. The Anet A8 text was centered to make the first layer more sticky at the corner where the text was before.
