Anet A8 Enclosure Brackets

These eight (8) brackets are designed to help you build a custom enclosure for the Anet A8 3D printer. You'll need some additional materials that can't be printed, but I've listed them below. Please note that this is still a work in progress, and I'll post updates with pictures as I make progress. These brackets are compatible with two different sizes of wood: 1.5" x 1.5" x (the length you choose) and 1.5" x .5" x (the length you choose). I started with pre-cut lumber from a local hardware store, then cut it down to size. Here's the list of materials needed in imperial standard: * 1.5" x .5" x 27" - 4 pieces (top and bottom supports in front and back) * 1.5" x .5" x 21" - 2 pieces (side top supports) * 1.5" x 1.5" x 16" - 4 pieces (upright corner supports) * 1.5" x 1.5" x 21" - 2 pieces (side bottom supports) You'll need 8 screws (3/4" long) per bracket. I'm still working on getting the exact measurements for the acrylic covers, and I'll add them once they're done. One of the best things about this modular design is that you can choose the size of your enclosure. The lengths listed above are just what I used in my build. Update: 2016/09/29 I've had several requests to modify the brackets for standard metric sizes, so I'll be making those available once my build is complete. It looks like the measurements will change to: * 40mm instead of 1.5" * 20mm instead of .5" The metric versions will have a "metric" tag in their file names or will be included as a zipped file. Update: 2016/11/26 The metric files are now live! When you download them, look for the "_METRIC" tag at the end of the file names!
