***Update*** Check out this video of the models and plugin in action: https://youtu.be/fnMHeWjzpq8 Plugin designed and tested with CURA 2.7+. Included Plugin for Easy Use. ***Update*** I'm blown away by the number of views and downloads within the first few hours of releasing this 'thing'. This is my very first created/submitted 'thing' ever, and I'd love to create more. Please leave a comment if you're finding this helpful and share any suggestions you might have. I'll take all feedback into consideration for future projects. ***Note***, I'm trying to figure out if there's GCode that will move the extruder further than 220mm (the build plate width) to the right. If anyone knows, please let me know. Currently, when the extruder reaches the far right edge (model dependent) of the buildplate with the "Auto Off" plugin enabled, it will shut off the printer. I was unhappy with the other "Auto Off' parts for Anet A8. This is my first Printer. Also, I didn't want to modify GCode each time to make the extruder move to the "Off Position". So, I hacked together a plugin to do this and created the parts from scratch. I'm sure I've done things inefficiently - Feel free to comment on better ways to modify my plugin or model. Place the AutoOff.py file in the ?:\Cura ?\plugins\PostProcessingPlugin\scripts\ folder When slicing your target files that you want to turn off after printing; In Cura select: Extensions->Post Processing->Modify G-Code and select "Auto Off" Your print will run the 'Stock' End code, and then without moving vertically will move to the far right to engage power off button.
