This extruder base plate is engineered for seamless compatibility with the Anet A8, specifically designed to securely hold the E3Dv6 (and its clones) in place. Printed finger screws that utilize project thread snap into position effortlessly, gripping the end with a firm grasp. When mounted, this base provides a solid foundation, while also being remarkably easy to remove without requiring any additional hardware. The design allows for a smooth and efficient workflow, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. A notable modification made to this design is the incorporation of an X-axis belt holder from another source, which has been seamlessly integrated into the back of the base plate. This innovative approach streamlines the assembly process, reducing complexity and enhancing overall performance. The design process for this extruder base plate was conducted using SolidWorks, a powerful CAD software that enabled precise modeling and simulation. By leveraging the capabilities of SolidWorks, I was able to create a highly optimized design that meets the needs of Anet A8 users while also providing a unique twist on traditional extruder bases.
