Anet A8 E3D V6 Direct Drive Mount

Anet A8 E3D V6 Direct Drive Mount

thingiverse

A direct drive carriage for the Anet A8 (or other 8mm rod 45mm space i3 style machines) mounting an E3D v6 or clone hotend and a block style (stock???) inductive sensor. Why this one? Fanduct is a minor modification of the one found on the Prusa I3 Mk3 Full credit to Prusa Research on this one. The motor is mounted inline with the top belt not well above the rails. Untested but I would presume this reduces wobbling with the cheap bearings. No lost Z height. By integrating the bottom on the extruder with the hotend mount the assembly is kept short. Has a mount for the block type (stock???) inductive sensor instead of the more standard industrial type.
