This object was designed using Tinkercad. Edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/6qDLPjUQ750. Printed Parts: 1) A8 Dual Extruder - V3.3 Carriage Mounting (Note: This part may require PETG) 2) A8 Dual Extruder - V3 Part Cooling Duct 1) A8 Dual Extruder - V3.3 Top Left 1) A8 Dual Extruder - V3.3 Top Right Optional Parts: 1) X_Axis_Cable_Tray_Mount - Designed for a Drag Chain (Printed at 22.5 angle with Supports) 1) 3 Times MOSFET Mount for HB and Dual Extruder Additional Parts: 2) E3D V6 Hot Ends 2) Extruder Motors ANet A8 type (276g, 9.8 oz) I am switching to 17HS4023 (132g, 4.66 oz), which is less than half the weight and offers more torque. 1) Left MK8 Extruder 1) Right MK8 Extruder 2) 40x40x10 Blower 12v 1) 40x40 Fan 12v (I used Noctua A4x10 or two clip-on fans for the E3D V6 heat sink) 1) Main board that can drive two extruders (I used a BTT v1.4 Turbo) Carriage Mounting: The Carriage Bearings screw holes can be either M3 or M4. 4) M4 x 35mm Socket Head - E3d V6/Linear bearing mounting blocks 4) M4 x 12mm Socket Head - Mounting to Upper Linear Bearings 4) M4 x 8mm Socket Head - Mounting to Lower Linear Bearings Extruder to Stepper (1/2 on each extruder): 2) M3 x 22mm Socket Head - Extruder Lever Hinge 4) M3 x 18mm Socket Head - Extruder bottom 2) M3 x 16mm Socket Head - Flat head Screw - Under the Extruder Lever Part Cooling Fan Mount: 4) M3 x 10mm Socket Head 4) M3 nuts Plus small screws that came with the fan Cooling fan for Heat Break Heat sink: Two choices: 1) Clip-on 20mm fans that come with the E3D V6 hot ends Or 2) 40mm x 10mm fan that mounts to the E3D V6 Mount blocks You will also want an upgraded power supply. The original 20A supply is not sufficient. V3: Depending on your extruder, there may not be enough clearance for the arm of extruder to move. I left the parts if you can and prefer the narrow version. V3.7: The mounting blocks and the Carriage have been redesigned so there is about 4mm of clearance between extruders. The mount for the cable/drag chain mount was moved forward. The screw holes for the M4 screws were resized so they fit more smoothly into the linear bearing pillow blocks.
