Anet A8 Double 80mm Fan Bracket
thingiverse
Tired of the underpowered blower fan on your Anet A8 or AM8? Hold onto your horses, because this bracket lets two 80mm fans pick up all the slack. This bracket replaces the tiny, worthless blower fan that comes with the Anet A8 stock, and uses the same two screws that used to hold it in place. All you need are two regular 80mm PC fans. How you decide to power and switch them is up to you - I personally wire them to my 12v power supply with a switch mounted to the front of the AM8 chassis, and just turn them on once the first layer is done printing. The STL file is upside down and rotated to fit on the Anet build plate, taking up 172.2 x 172.2 x 58.9mm of space. I used supports (Cura setting "touching buildplate" with an angle of 50 degrees) and printed it with a 5mm brim for bed adhesion. Edit: - Flattened the top of the fan brackets to allow for better bed adhesion. - Elongated mounting holes to allow for 5mm of vertical adjustment. - Trimmed extraneous edges around the center bracket. - Lengthened bracing along the edges of the fan brackets. - Thickened fan mounting plate edges - Enlarged fan mounting holes - Added fourth (smaller) fan mounting hole to use one of the long 3x30mm screws from the stock Anet kit to secure that corner, sized for self-tapping - mostly to keep that corner from vibrating against the bracket.
