Anet A8 Custom Frame
thingiverse
Although I managed to get decent prints from my Anet A8 at slow speeds, the quality suffered as I increased the speed. This was primarily due to the default plastic frame which bends slightly as you increase the speed. To get around this problem, I decided to use a rigid aluminium frame structure, but I also wanted to make the printer a lot tidier by hiding the loose cables and components wherever possible. The printer now produced good quality prints at higher speeds. Note: Ensure you that you use ABS for the parts that sit close to the heat bed.
