Here is my redesign of a popular cooling outlet for the Anet A8. After designing and manufacturing a new fan holder adapter for the printer, I sought out a fan outlet that would seamlessly integrate with my design. All existing options were designed to snap onto the outside of the squirrel cage housing, but that approach no longer sufficed. I reverse-engineered a similar design (thing 1954001) and added additional material to the top, which fits snugly into my adapter. So far, it's working as intended. I also augmented the internal duct with extra volume in an effort to enhance airflow.
