Anet A8 Clone 5mm Frame Stabilizer
thingiverse
I always assumed I had purchased a genuine Anet A8. However, after carefully examining the descriptions provided by everyone else, I noticed that all of their frames were constructed from acrylic material. In contrast, my frame was shipped to me with aviation-grade plywood. Every time I downloaded and printed a design, the parts didn't fit properly due to the significant thickness difference between the acrylic and my plywood frame. It became apparent that I had unknowingly bought a clone model. Consequently, I decided to measure my frame using calipers this morning and applied those measurements to adjust the design accordingly. Given that every component of my frame measures 5mm in thickness, I adjusted the gap in this design to 5.3mm to ensure a snug fit without requiring any hammering. This modification should prevent the parts from slipping off or becoming loose over time. I hope this revised design proves helpful for others who have encountered similar issues with their Anet A8 clones. I would like to extend my gratitude to pparsniak for creating such an attractive and elegant design.
