Hello, I've recently got an Anet A8 3d printer from my friend to fix it up. His nozzle was clogged so I wanted to buy a replacement and oh my good they are so expensive in my country so i decided to use my e3d v5 hotend and whole mk4 carriage system as I couldn't find any solutions on the internet. The frame is mounted to 3 bearings via included screws. Belt tensioners are secured with m3 nuts (I used a soldering iron to push it inside the material. WARNING!Do not use fanduct included with standard MK4 Carriage system as it's too big and collides with printer's frame thus destroying it. (it did definitely not happen to me). I need to think of a long term solution to mount a blower fan. Happy printing!21.02.2024 UPDATE v2Increased the width to match original MK4 style and thickness by 1mm. Added holes for screws from the front.
