Anet A8 cable management

Anet A8 cable management

I dislike how cables are managed within existing systems, so I designed these components to improve their organization and accessibility. Two options are available: all plastic or a combination of plastic and aluminum. The first option is comprised of two separate parts that enable the concealment of power and motor cables originating from the PSU and traveling to the mainboard. Please refer to Picture 2 for installation instructions. The second option serves the same purpose but utilizes a squared aluminum tube (20x20mm). Cut the aluminum tube and insert the printed parts at both ends. Refer to Picture 1 for guidance on the installation process. I've successfully accommodated three power cables (3+ and 3-) and the Z2 motor cable within both options. I recommend option two as it adds structural integrity to the frame. Please note that if you're using https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3149068, you'll need to cut the aluminum tube as shown in Picture One. Option two was designed with this in mind.
