Anet A8 Bowden Extruder Mount

This mount is designed specifically for use with the "Compact Bowden Extruder, direct drive 1.75mm" by Schlotzz, available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:275593, on Anet A8 Prusa i3 clone printers. It may also be compatible with other printers such as the OMNI M505, etc. This mount is positioned high enough to accommodate the acrylic spool stand that comes with the printer easily underneath it. The part is not actually curved as shown in the picture; the print lifted during the initial prototype, but the warpage did not affect the final dimensions. I have already corrected the location of the hold down for the Z-axis rod. This mount uses the spare 18mm M3 screws and M3 nuts included with the printer. You are free to modify this part to suit other bowden setups. If you print this, please post an "I made it!" so I can see how it works out for everyone else. Printer Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 40% Notes: I'm not yet an expert on printing settings, but I used 40% infill for rigidity; use what works best for you.
