The bed springs were designed to stay upright, ensuring the hotbed wouldn't shift and leveling would be consistent overall. The total length of this design is 17mm, with 2mm clearance below the fixed plate, a 3mm gap for easy sliding onto the plate, and 12mm space above the plate for optimal spring compression. The cylinder opening measures 8.5mm to accommodate the springs perfectly. An additional version was created with a looser fit in mind, catering to those who prefer it.
