Anet A8-B v1: X-Belt Tensioner
thingiverse
I couldn't get FredGenius's original to print correctly on my A8, so I drew it with looser tolerances. I made specific changes: - The belt gripper's teeth are much looser (I used washers to secure the belt after inserting). - Dove tails have a wider tolerance and a 55° angle instead of 45°. - I used a 3mm tightener screw instead of 4mm due to availability. - The tightener screw is closer to the belt to reduce skew forces. All other modifications occurred naturally. You'll need: **3mm x 30mm** screws (you can use one from spare parts) **3mm nuts** (also from spares) 4x **3mm x 17.5mm screws** (there are 8 of them in the original belt fastener) I swapped the 30mm Phillips screw with a hex nut screw I bought for better access some time ago.
