Anet A8 Autolevel (using stock Z-Endstop)
thingiverse
I designed this simple sensor holder after experimenting with various non-contact sensors, but never managed to achieve a particularly reliable level of autosensing. Autoleveling, for example, using the Marlin software works just as well with a non-contact sensor (9-point grid), except that the supplied stock Z-Endstop switch is used instead. To set it up, simply extend the cable, screw on the Z-Endstop, and plug in - you're good to go. Assembly instructions can be found in the pictures provided. During printing, the part with the Endstop switch needs to be flipped over and repositioned so that the nozzle can reach the print bed without any issues. Update 1: A longer version of the loose part has been added (45mm) to accommodate printers with long throttles. This way, you won't need to make big adjustments in your printer's software.
