Anet A8 - Auto Shutdown

Here is my project to auto-shutdown the printer at the end of printing. My project is divided into two parts. The first part involves building a switch box, which requires a standard built-in switch that can be found on Amazon or in local stores. I used a 2x0.75mm sheathed wire recovered from an old power cord of a radio as the cable for this part. This piece must be attached to the hole cover of the steel bar of the Z-axis using a screw. The second part needs to be mounted on the extruder carriage with two M4 screws, which I obtained by reusing those already present on the X-axis bearings. After printing and assembling the parts, you need to modify the fine G-Code from your slicer. The one I use is provided below so that you can copy it. In order for everything to work perfectly before gluing the G-Code in place, check the height between point 0, which is your hot-bed, and the switch. For my printer, I set this height to 238mm. If necessary, go ahead and modify the line "G1 Z238 F3600; move 238mm to the top" accordingly. For example, if the measured height is 220mm, your string will be: "G1 Z220 F3600; move 220mm to the top". Enjoy! Here's the END G-Code: M104 S0; turn off the extruder heater M140 S0; turn off the heated bed heater (if you have it) G91; switch to relative positioning G1 E-1 F300; retract the filament a bit before lifting the nozzle, to release some of the pressure G1 Z + 0.5 E-5 X-20 Y-20 F9000; move Z up a bit and retract filament even more G28 X0 Y0; move X / Y to min endstops, so the head is out of the way G90; switch back to absolute positioning G1 Y190 F9000; use this line if you want the bed to move to the front. Delete if not. G1 Z238 F3600; move 238mm to the top G1 X210 F3600; move 210mm to the right G1 X-10 F3600; move to the left M84; turn off the steppers
