UPDATE June 7, 2019 - Added Support for Different Limit Switches. 1) With finecorsa_supporto_microswitch the limit switch is in high position. 2) With finecorsa_supporto_microswitch2 the limit switch is set to medium position. 3) With finecorsa_supporto_microswitch3 the limit switch position can be adjusted. It's quite lengthy. To print on my Anet A8, it rotated 45 degrees diagonally. 4) With finecorsa_supporto_microswitch4 bigger microswitches are accepted, and there is an option to install an exclusion switch. Auto Power Off for ANET A8. You can find a suggested wiring schematic included. Adjustments may be necessary for your 3D printer. Do not proceed unless you are an expert in electricity. The bypass switch is required to turn on the printer initially or print very tall objects. If the timer is installed, the bypass switch becomes necessary only for tall objects. To make it work, add the command "G00 Z200" to your slicer configuration, inside the print end script. Please adjust the Z200 value according to your printer's configuration. I started with a low value and increased by trial and error until the switch turned off. For my printer, the correct value is 200. Inside the power switch case, there is space for the timer. On my printer, I added a 10-minute timer to disable the auto power off microswitch (the timer is optional). When choosing switches, microswitches, and timers, be mindful of your installed power supply. Do not underestimate the printer's power consumption! Please insulate the microswitch well and install the cover to avoid electrical shock.
