A Critical Add-on for the Anet A8 Stock Bed Levelling Sensor Mounting Plate Prevents distortion of the auto levelling mounting plate, ensuring the Auto levelling sensor remains parallel to the heated bed. Those who have installed a bed leveling sensor in this position are well aware that it's all too easy to distort the mounting plate, rendering the sensor no longer square to the bed. To prevent front-to-back deformation, I've created a custom brace. Refer to the photographs for detailed instructions on how to install the brace. **A Crucial Note** If you're using the same flexible magnetic build plate that I use, there's **NO** chance of the sensor detecting the bed before a catastrophic head crash occurs, which would ruin the flexible bed surface at a hefty expense. **The Solution** To prevent this costly mistake, place a layer of aluminum foil between the magnetic sheets for the sensor to detect. This solution works effectively, providing a close and precise reading without disrupting the magnetic attraction between the flexible part and the magnetic bed.
