I designed this piece starting from another of OderWat's,http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2067676, my thanks for that. When I uploaded the design of upper pieces that trap the Z-axis spindle via bearings http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2192900, not a few people commented that this piece was unnecessary, there is a debate about this topic, which I find interesting. In my opinion, I think many confuse the helical spindle of the Anet A8 with the old screw that came in the first Prusa I3, since that screw had no other function than to screw but it was used as a spindle, causing countless problems of misalignments. The spindle that comes on the Anet A8, at least in my case, is of good quality, just like the Z-axis bars, I have not noticed any deformations in mine. I believe that the problem is not the spindle, but rather the difficult task of making the different pieces of the Z-axes fall into the same vertical, as well as the clearance of the T-nut. In any case, if problems such as the famous wobbel in prints are appreciated, this piece may be useful, but without neglecting the review of the entire printer structure, since this problem or similar effects can be generated by other causes, for example having the X or Z-axis bars with clearance in their supports, etc., etc. I had to redesign Oderwat's original design since my printer's hotend is placed very low, leaving me very little space to place the original piece. With the design I have made this space is minimized, and I have included some balls as bearings so that the friction between the two pieces is minimal, and thus favoring that the pieces supporting the extruder only have a vertical movement, since I believe that with the weight of the extruder plus the X-axis motor, without these "bearings" they would surely accompany the piece of the T-nut in horizontal movements, causing unwanted effects in the print.
