After designing and printing the modified anti-z wobble for my Anet A8, I realized that the original version was too small to accommodate the standard screws. Furthermore, the design combined two volumetric objects, which Simplify 3D struggled to slice correctly. To address this issue, I printed custom dust caps for the z-axis hole in the frame's top and scaled them up significantly to serve as a guide for the z-axis. With these modifications working smoothly, I decided to create a new set that would print flawlessly without any hassle. After refining the design through more than 20 iterations, I'm confident that I've completed my project. For those who want to make changes, I've included the raw Fusion 360 files as a starting point. My revised model was built from scratch and later underwent substantial modifications. I'd like to thank everyone who experimented with this type of mod and helped me improve it. Update: The design has been optimized for seamless slicing by Slic3r, Cura, and Simplify3D. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 40% Notes: This model is intended to be printed with three perimeters and six shells, which is equivalent to printing with a wall thickness of 1.2 mm and a surface thickness of 1.2 mm. While it's challenging to design something that suits everyone's needs, I've made every effort to ensure that this version will print successfully for most users out of the box.
