Anet A8 anti vibration set (or any 8 & 5mm frame)
thingiverse
I've been really into printing flexible filament lately and I've got it down to a science. So, I figured I'd create some footings for my Anet, but they'll actually work on any printer with an 8mm frame. First, print two sets of the left and right corners, as well as one 8mm strip and one smaller 5mm strip. Then, cut them to size. The reason for this is that less travel time on a TPE or flexible print means much faster printing, plus less cleanup of rubber strings in the end result. I've included my Cura settings in a screenshot - I print at 230 degrees with 20% infill and no heat on a glass bed. No hairspray or glue stick is needed; they just mess up the finish. A clean plate leaves a perfect shiny finish on the first layer and holds extremely tightly on a flat surface. You can also check out the screenshot for how many to print and how much infill you use will affect the dampening, so less infill means more cushion. Try to print them all with the same infill percentage. By the way, the 5mm strips are for the front part of the printer that holds the Z extruders or the only part of the printer that has 5mm plexi.
