What's this? A 360 degree turnable air inlet, so you can decide if you want the cooler air from above or the warmer air coming from the bed below running through your cooling system. Why? - Reduces fan noise. - Keeps particles out of your fan. - Sucks only the air from where you want it to the cooler, which can rotate 360 degrees. - Adds a new variable for tuning your setup. (Control freaks love this one). - Industrial look just looks awesome on your Anet printer :P How come you made this? Since the smallest things can have an impact on your prints, and everyone is tweaking all those aspects, I was kind of surprised to only see (a lot) of nozzles for the cooling part of the printer, and no tweaks to make the air intake more efficient. So I came up with this Industrial looking, 360 degree turnable Air inlet. Out of the box the cool fan would suck random air into the cooling system from all around him, including the hot air coming straight from the bed, thus making the air to cool with warm.....ehm...that sounds a bit like it needs a tweak :P I figured if I could make an air inlet that I could turn away from the heatbed, I will suck in more 'cooler' air, and do a overall better job in cooling. When designing the inlet I thought it would maybe be useful if you could adjust the intake so you could suck in the warm air from the heat bed to maybe aid in printing and cooling some filaments. Let me know your experience and findings with the inlet! If you like my design, please think about a small donation for a nice hot coffee, and for further development as well!
