Anet A8 Adjustable bearing holder for Igus Drylin bearings
thingiverse
My igus bearings had excessive clearance in them. So I modified the bearing compression method by remixing a file from thingiverse using Tinkercad, specifically file 03. Next, I added two M4 bolts that were 15mm long. Then, I installed the igus bearing inside and carefully mounted it on the machine, slowly tightening until all clearance was eliminated but avoiding over-tightening. This process only works for the x carriage assembly. Due to its delicate nature, getting the extruder mount loose enough is a precise operation that requires patience.
