This is a basic cover to fit around the connectors on the bottom of a high-capacity 30A power supply unit (PSU) for the Anet A8. These PSUs are affordable and widely available on Amazon, eBay, and other online marketplaces. Most have M4 mounting holes on the back at 50mm wide and 150mm high centers, requiring some new holes to be drilled in the Anet frame; this is a relatively straightforward process. This cover holds a switched and fused IEC mains socket for a standard "kettle lead". It also has a small compartment that I am using to hold a buck converter on a tiny piece of vero board which supplies 5v DC to a Raspberry Pi Zero W mounted near the main board, allowing me to run Octoprint etc. The design file is included in OpenSCAD. You can easily modify the measurements to suit your specific PSU and you will almost certainly want to adjust the height of the PSU from the base as this will be entirely dependent on where you drilled the new mounting holes for the PSU. The slot on the left side (as viewed from the front) is designed for the Z2 stepper cable, while the hole near the top "snaps" over the button head of one of the Anet A8 frame screws to secure the left side firmly in place. The right side features a hole that matches up with an M4 screw hole in the side of the PSU. For this, I used a short M4 screw, approximately 5mm long.
