Anet A8 12V 30A 360W power supply mount
thingiverse
This is a custom adapter that fits 12V 30A 360W power supplies perfectly onto the mount points of the Anet A8. I designed this because the other 360W power supply mounts around here were unnecessarily large (I'm big on saving filament), and they lacked essential features like countersinks or required m3 screws with short lengths that I didn't have available. Additionally, I wanted to ensure my power supply was securely fastened using nuts rather than simply threaded into PLA. Before assembling the adapter, you should lightly sand the contact surfaces so friction can effectively distribute the load across the entire part. To build this adapter, you'll need: * 3x m3 screws that are at least 14mm long * 3x m4 screws with lengths of 8mm Print two of the bottom STL files and one top STL file. First, insert the m3 screws through the parts, then attach them to the power supply so the threads face away from the power supply and the part is flush. Gently tighten the adapter down to the power supply mount using short 8mm m4 screws – I used the extra m4 screws that came with my Anet A8. Next, line up the m3 screws with the holes in the frame of the Anet A8, then you can tighten the m4 screws down completely. Check out this picture for reference. Finally, stick the m3 screws through the Anet A8 frame and hold them in place using nuts.
