Anet A6 Z Stop Switch Bracket
thingiverse
After printing and installing thing 2106854 from https://www.thingiverse.com/, my printer's z stop switch stopped getting triggered. To fix this problem, I designed a new bracket that lowers and moves the switch into position where it will be hit by the x axis carriage. This design uses the existing mounting holes for the z stop switch on my printer, so no additional drilling is required. I made a second update to version 1 of this bracket, which initially only had the switch touch the flat part of the x axis carriage. Although this worked well at first, I wondered if wear and tear over time might cause the carriage to move down slightly, allowing it to miss the switch. To address this concern, I redesigned the bracket to push the switch deep under the flat part. My third update involved switching to an AnyCubic Ultrabase with a glass bed. This change required me to adjust the bracket again to accommodate both of my printer's different build plate heights.
