The cap effectively silences the rattling noise caused by the Z-screw in the large hole of the rigid acrylic plate. Due to the significant size difference between the holes - 8.5 mm in the cap versus 13 mm in the plate - this cap should be used exclusively in conjunction with the anti-wobbling system. To achieve effective dampening, the material of the cap must be relatively soft, such as FLEX or SBS.
