Anet A6 Z-motor scale

Anet A6 Z-motor scale

This mod enables users to track Z-axis changes. Each tooth on the scale ring represents a 0.1 mm height adjustment. Every tenth tooth is slightly longer, indicating a full millimeter change. A permanent marker was used to mark a "zero" point and every second tooth for easier counting of 0.2 mm increments. However, this approach proved problematic due to poor visibility on the black background. To install the toothed ring, loosen and lift the spindle rod first. The needle clamp must be securely attached to the socket. Both the toothed ring and the needle can be adjusted during printing operations. Printing these components in different colors or using a permanent marker to mark the needle is recommended to ensure visibility above the scale. This mod has been tested successfully on some printers, but we need someone with an Anet A8 to confirm its compatibility.
