Anet A6 Z Axis stepper motor mount stabilizer all in all
thingiverse
I designed custom stepper motor mounts myself, allowing us to print less material while keeping the stepper motors stable across all axes. The motors can no longer move freely in X-Y-Z directions since this mount is secured with two screws that attach it to both the stepper motor and the frame. Additionally, the bottom plate or any chosen base provides a fixed point for attachment, making it easy to secure the linear guide using an M3 screw or an M3 allen wrench. This design offers a complete solution with minimal print requirements. The lower frame is also less likely to bend in the Y-axis due to this modification. The left mount features a z-axis limit switch holder that allows for three different positions, providing flexibility when attaching your limit switch. I created two versions: one with 6mm feet and another with 10mm feet. I opted for printing the 6mm version, which works flawlessly.
