Anet A6 Z-Axis dust cap
thingiverse
I'm creating a 3D model from scratch using Autodesk 123d and Fusion 360 for the first time. This object is designed to fit perfectly on top of a 3D printer's frame, specifically an Anet A6, without obstructing its Z-axis movement. The cap has a small pocket in the center that allows the Z-axis rod to pass through smoothly, with a sleeve diameter of 8mm matching the thickness of the Anet A6 frame itself. This design is tailored to fit snugly on top of the printer's frame but still provides enough clearance for the Z-axis to move freely without any hindrance. I've successfully printed this cap using Cura 2.3.1 and Repetier's slicer, achieving a print speed of approximately 55mm/s with a layer height of 0.2mm and an infill density of 20%.
