When I installed the rear support, I observed that the acrylic frame of the Z-stepper motors had shifted forward slightly, causing an incorrect axle distance for the Z-axis guide.\r\nTo restore the correct alignment between the frame and guides, I designed these sockets with stability and compactness in mind. The narrower hole for the Z-guide rod also improved performance.\r\nI intentionally left the base open at the front to allow heat from the Z-motors to dissipate freely.\r\nThe printing results remained unaffected, but the leadscrews are now centrally positioned within the recesses again.\r\n\r\nFuture revisions will include a holder for the Z-limit switch.\r\n\r\n_Printer settings:_\r\nMaterial: PLA\r\nResolution: 0.2mm\r\nWall thickness: 1.6mm\r\nInfill: 30-50%\r\nSupport: yes
