I've rewired a strain relief and Y axis cable clip together seamlessly, allowing room for standard connectors with just enough clearance for easy on-and-off access. However, my intention is to utilize this setup for a direct soldered connection, ditching the need for clips altogether. The heatbed connector on Anet printers has a notorious reputation as one of the potential fire hazards lurking within 3D printing setups. I've witnessed other users eliminating theirs after encountering homing fails caused by cable jams between the bed and stepper motor. As for my own setup, the outer cables have started to fray due to extensive use. While they may seem redundant at first glance, safety should always be the top priority. By combining this rewired strain relief with a cable chain, I've effectively eradicated two major points of failure on my A6 printer while maintaining a secure and organized cabling system.
