Anet A6 Y belt tensioner
thingiverse
This is an updated version of [CH35C0](https://www.thingiverse.com/CH35C0)'s [Y belt tensioner for the A8](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2149867). The geometry looked a bit off for my setup and I also wanted to upgrade the idler in this remix. This version has a lower center for the idler, more similar to the original Anet design, so you can fit an idler with guides like [this one](http://amzn.to/2Fz9hbV) which is 18mm in diameter. **Important**: You should install a front panel brace if you plan on using a belt tensioner, like for example [this one](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1896013). This is a snug fit on my A6, so you might want to underdimension it a tiny bit depending on your printer's accuracy. The idler solves the issue of the light tapping from the belt teeth slipping into the groove of the stock idler and gives it more stability with its teeth. The idler has a 5mm hole, but it works fine with the original 3mm screw. I installed a M5 x 25mm screw and it fits perfectly and keeps the idler really stable so I've uploaded a 5mm diameter model as well. I kept CH35C0's screw and plate intact.
