Anet A6 Y Axis Front Brace
prusaprinters

UPDATE(Feb 10th 2018): Well, I see that this got lot of attention since I made this, had to print one for someone so I decided to tweak my design a little bit, now you can screw the brace into a table or something, I'll still keep all my version here in case someone doesnt like the new stuff.

DESCRIPTION(Sept 27th 2016): I printed the Belt tensioning modification for Anet made by (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1492411) and it work fine, but the brace that Simhopp did to protect the y asix acrylic front plate is for the Anet A8, which have a larger plate than the Anet A6. Decided to learn how Autocad 123d work and made this as my second project.

Now for those who wonder, the reason why I've left the holes fills with plastic is to get more strength, I dont mind wasting a little bit more plastic just to make sure the strength is perfect

Print Settings

Printer:

Anet A6

Rafts:

Doesn't Matter

Supports:

Yes

Infill:

40%

Category: 3D Printer Parts
