Anet A6 Y Axis Front Brace
thingiverse
UPDATE (Feb 10th, 2018): I see this has generated a lot of attention since I posted it. Had to print one for someone, so I decided to tweak my design slightly. Now you can screw the brace into a table or something. I'll still keep all my previous versions here in case someone doesn't like the new stuff. DESCRIPTION (Sept 27th, 2016): I printed the Belt tensioning modification for Anet, which was originally designed by (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1492411), and it worked perfectly fine. However, the brace that Simhopp created to protect the y-axis acrylic front plate is specifically designed for the Anet A8, which has a larger plate than the Anet A6. I decided to learn how Autocad 123d works and made this as my second project. Now, for those who are curious, I left the holes unfilled with plastic to achieve maximum strength. I don't mind wasting a little more plastic if it ensures perfect strength. Print Settings Printer: Anet A6 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Infill: 40%
