I tightened up the x belt by installing a new tensioner and quickly realized that the added pressure was causing the back of my stepper motor to bend away from its carriage. To counteract this issue, I implemented a sturdy brace to keep the stepper in position, thereby ensuring the x belt stays perfectly aligned with the stepper's teeth.
