Anet A6 x-carriage with Tronxy / BLtouch Sensor Variable
thingiverse
First of all, a huge thanks to Dovanzeijl for the [Anet A6 x-carriage](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2171816). This model is heavily based on his original work. # The Problem Calibrating my [tronxy based sensor](https://www.banggood.com/de/TRONXY-6-38V-Auto-Leveling-Heated-Bed-Sensor-For-Tronxy-P802M-P802E-3D-Printer-p-1160586.html?rmmds=search) was a frustrating process for me. Every time I had to adjust the sensor to nozzle height, I had to unscrew and screw the sensor, hoping that it wouldn't move while fastening. # My Solution Here's my fix: The sensor is mounted on a sled, which is attached to a rail. The sled can be raised or lowered by turning a screw. A spring holds the sled in place, keeping it from wobbling around. This solution works for me, and I hope it will help you too! # What You Need To build this adapter, you'll need a heatbed spring, a 35mm M3 screw as the rotation axis, and two 8mm M3 screws to attach the rail to the carriage. For the BLTouch Adapter, you'll also need two additional 6mm M3 screws. I recommend welding some [Brass Knurl Nuts](https://www.banggood.com/de/100pcs-M34mm-H62-Brass-Knurl-Nuts-DIY-Accessories-p-971077.html) for a more stable and reliable setup. # You Have Another Sensor? If you have another sensor, let me know. Maybe we can design a universal mount with different adapters for this design. # Changelog 14.09.2017: * Added BLTouch adapter * Modified the sensor sled slightly 18.09.2017: * Added bltouchAdapterv5.stl with slight clearance for the BLTouch adapter 12.03.2018: Added version 2, focusing on clearing space to the left and right. **Caution**: This design has not been tested, as I redesigned my entire printer. However, during the redesign process, I created this remix and wanted to share it in case anyone finds a use for it. If you're using V2, please leave feedback if it works. Changes include: * The fan is now located on the rear * A new fanduct has been added for the rear fan * A new BLTouch Adapter has been designed to make use of the freed space
