Anet A6 X Axis modification
prusaprinters

Another alternative design of the X axis carriage for the Anet A6 printer. This one is focused on minimal space occupation and support free printing. Diverse M3 and four M4 screws plus matching nuts are required for the assembly. The collet's diameter for the smooth rods is 8.1mm in the model. Depending on your printer's settings and callibration you might have to adjust or postprocess those bores it a bit. I replaced the endstop with the one form Makerbot, but you could probably glue or screw the original one to this design somewhere else.

Print instructions

I printed mine in PLA with 0.3mm layer height and no supports on my kinda stock anet. The Motor mount did bend a bit after some time, so in hinsight PETG or ABS would probably been better for this part.
